The drive through the mountains and along the eastern coast of the UAE is one of my favourites. Dibba, is an area which is divided into three parts. Dibba, Al Fujairah (filmed in this clip), Dibba Al Hisn, which belongs to the Emirate of Sharjah and Dibba Al Baya which is across the border and in Oman. All are natural, rugged coastal mountain villages and equally beautiful. This is one...
This week I decided to visit Dibba Rock. The sea around the little mountain jutting out of the sea is emerald green and during low tide you can walk towards the reef. A little curious to know what lay beneath the surface I flew a little closer.
What better way to celebrate 'World Mangrove Day' than to visit a mangrove.. Today I visited Ajman's beautiful Al Zorah Mangrove..
This beautiful natural coastal wetland covers 5.4 million square meters of land. It’s home to many plant , bird and marine species and is recognized as a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention. Beautiful nature.
So here's a look at some of my favourite moments from my dives in the Maldives. It is also a shout-out to all the amazing Padi instructors living and working in the Maldives who have taught me so much and who have the unbelievable ability to spot the most fascinating marine life. Can't wait to go back!
I finally made it back to the Maldives after almost two years. Here's a quick look at the gorgeous reef and villas at Vakkaru Maldives in the Baa Atoll. More to come about this stunning resort. Stay tuned!
